Dr Louisa Beckford, Consultant Psychiatrist
Dr Louisa Beckford is a Consultant Psychiatrist with extensive experience in specialist eating disorder treatment. She has worked in Eating Disorder Services in London at the Bethlem and Maudsley Hospitals, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, and more recently in Warwick with Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust.
Louisa has experience working in various treatment settings, including inpatient, day patient, and outpatient care, and more recently developed expertise in delivering eating disorder treatment online. She has worked closely with therapists using a variety of therapy models, including CBT-E, CFT, CAT, psychodynamic therapy, and family therapy.
Louisa has taught a range of professionals including medical undergraduates, trainee doctors and non – medical staff.
