Ché Moore works with adults from the age of 18+ years at The Soke in Chelsea, providing mental health and psychological therapy. With over 25 years’ experience, he is an accredited cognitive behavioural psychotherapist (CBT), a registered EMDR therapist (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) and a registered mental health nurse.
Ché specialises in helping people recover from traumatic experiences; relating to single incidents and complex trauma. As well as PTSD, Ché also has experience in helping people who are experiencing generalised anxiety, depression, panic attacks, social anxiety, low self-esteem, phobias, substance misuse and eating disorders. His therapeutic approaches include CBT, EMDR, Compassion-Focussed Therapy (CFT) and Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), used individually or in combination, according to his clients’ needs.
Following a BSc in Mental Health Nursing from University of East Anglia, gained in 2001, Ché went on to achieve a Postgraduate Certificate in Dual Diagnosis Assessment and Treatment, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Studies, both from the University of Middlesex, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy from Royal Holloway University of London.
Ché aims to help facilitate a journey of self-discovery, growth and change, he provides compassionate, person-centred, evidence-based therapy that is non-judgemental, warm and respectful. The length of treatment can be short, medium or long term, depending on what each individual client aims to achieve from therapy. Following a role at The Priory in Roehampton, Ché took up senior specialist positions within the NHS in central London, focussing on substance misuse and community mental health. He is currently a senior psychological therapist with the Grenfell Health and Wellbeing Service, which was set up in 2017 to support and treat people affected by the Grenfell Tower fire.
