Alice Carter, Neurodevelopment Practitioner and Speech & Language Therapist

Alice specialises in Comprehensive Speech and Language Therapy assessments and providing ongoing therapy to support families and young people with their communication differences.

She has over 20 years experience working within Primary Health Care Trusts and her own private practive alongside families and teachers in a young person's educational setting.

Alice is trained in the Social Communication Emotional Regulation and Transactional (SCERTS) model of intervention and also trained in More Than Words - The Hanen Centre. She embeds these principles within her everyday work with families and settings in order to develop social interaction and social communication.

Alice is also trained in completing the Autism Diagnostic Observations Schedule - edition 2 (ADOS-2) and works with our multi-disciplinary team in the differential diagnosis of Autism.

Comprehensive language assessments help to identify specific language difficulties that a young person is experiencing in order to direct input and therapy where needed.
