As a Clinical Psychologist at Soke Wimbledon, Dr Alexandria Phillips works with clients from the age of 18 years. She provides comprehensive assessments and consultations for individuals, alongside ongoing therapy. In her practice, Alexandria offers a warm, compassionate and safe space, working integratively to meet the clients’ specific needs.
Using a range of approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT), Alexandria formulates and implements clear treatment plans for the psychological management of her client’s mental health issues. Alexandria specialises in supporting people with emotion regulation difficulties, disordered eating, body image, binge eating disorder and emotional eating.
Outside of Soke Wimbledon, Alexandria is lead psychologist for a specialist weight management team within the NHS. Further, she provides her expertise as a workshop and group facilitator for the bereavement charity, Loss Foundation.
Alexandria holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Royal Holloway University of London, an MSc in Mental Health Studies from Kings College London, and a BSc in Psychology from University of Exeter. She has worked for eight years across specialist NHS treatment services including Great Ormond Street Hospital.
